Tony Zhao is a serial entrepreneur, and founder and CEO at Agora. He founded Agora in 2014, with a vision to provide high quality voice and video as a ubiquitous platform to developers and business around the world.
Previously, Tony was CTO and board director at YY.com (NASDAQ: YY), one of the world’s first video-based social network and live streaming apps with over 300 million users. From 1997 to 2004, he served as a founding engineer at WebEx Communications Inc, where he developed the audio and video technology for the industry’s first web collaboration solution. WebEx was acquired by Cisco in 2007 for $3.2 billion.
Clive Downie
Clive serves as Chief Marketing Officer at Unity Technologies. In this role, he is responsible for product marketing & communications, education, user growth, demand generation, localization, Made with Unity, and the Unity Demo Team. Prior to Unity, Downie served as Chief Operations Officer for Zynga where he successfully transitioned the company's revenue and audience to mobile. Prior to Zynga, Downie was Chief Executive Officer of DeNA West, the American and European division of the Japan-based mobile portal platform. Prior to that, he was the Vice President of Marketing and Revenue at ngmoco, Inc., a mobile game company acquired by DeNA in October 2010. Before joining ngmoco, Downie spent more than 15 years at Electronic Arts where he served as Vice President of Marketing, managing some of the world's most successful game franchises including FIFA Soccer, Need for Speed, Medal of Honor and Command & Conquer.
Eugene Wei
Eugene Wei is a graduate of Stanford University and a longtime product executive in the technology industry. He joined Amazon.com in 1997 as the first strategic planning analyst. He switched to product management and helped launch the video store at Amazon before working on the third party seller platform and finally Amazon Web Services. After Amazon he lived in NYC and Los Angeles pursuing filmmaking, first studying editing at The Edit Center and then directing at UCLA’s Graduate School of Film and Theatre. He returned into the technology industry as part of the founding team at Hulu, heading its product organization for 3.5 years. He started Erly with several Hulu colleagues in San Francisco and sold it to Airtime. After that, he ran the product team at Flipboard for two years and then moved to Oculus to lead its efforts in VR video for two years. Currently he angel invests and advises on product strategy and product development and is working on a new startup.
Geoff Cook
Geoffrey Cook is a serial entrepreneur, and public company CEO. The Meet Group started out as a single brand, which Geoff grew to over $30 million in revenue before merging with a public company in a $100 million deal. Since then, Geoff has led the company to acquire four additional social apps - GROWLr, Andreessen Horowitz backed Skout, Tagged, and LOVOO. In 2019, Cook forged a partnership with Match Group’s, Plenty of Fish, to bring livestreaming technology to their platform.
Huib Kleinhout
Huib Kleinhoutis Product Manager at Google, a veteran in the browser industry, and currently focused on advancing WebRTC in Chrome to make it faster, more flexible and supporting new use cases from camera effects to cloud gaming. Before joining Google he has been leading various engineering teams at browser maker Opera Software, where he stood for numerous innovations in browser experience and worked with the engineering team integrating WebRTC in Opera’s browser stack. Huib is based in Sweden together with many of Google’s key engineers behind WebRTC. He’s native Dutch and did his master thesis at Philips Research in the Netherlands. He is co-inventor of some patents from Philips Research that form the basis of multitouch (which Apple popularized in the iPhone). He had studied at Eindhoven Technical University and holds a master’s in technology and society, information technology.

Reggie (Regev) Yativ
An accomplished executive having led growth for both Fortune 500 companies and high-growth startups, Reggie brings more than 17 years of strategic commercial enterprise leadership and business management experience, driving companies and teams to success and achievement worldwide. Reggie joins Agora from Redis Labs, a world-leading NoSQL database technology company where he helped bring talent into the organization and lead the team to dramatic growth as its vice president of sales. During Reggie’s time at Redis Labs, the team topped Deloitte’s Technology Fast 500™ for 2017, a ranking of the 500 fastest growing technology companies in North America. Prior to Redis Labs, Reggie served as a senior director at Johnson & Johnson, as well as CRO at Magic Software Enterprise, a Nasdaq-traded enterprise software company headquartered in Israel.
Zoe Liu
Zoe Liu received her PhD from Purdue University, West Lafayette, Indiana, and her ME/BE from Tsinghua University in Beijing. She is the Co-Founder & President of Visionular Inc. with HQ in Palo Alto, California, and offices in Hangzhou and Beijing. Visionular provides both on premise and cloud based video encoding solutions and services to its enterprise customers worldwide, covering all major user scenarios including VOD, live streaming, and ultra-low latency interactive communications. Zoe was previously a software engineer with the Google WebM team, and has been a key contributor to the newly finalized video codec standard AOM/AV1. She was on the Google I/O stage in 2018 introducing AV1 to worldwide developers. Zoe has been Principal Contributor/Technical Lead for several renowned video real-time communications products, including Apple FaceTime, Tango VideoCall, and Google Glass VideoCall.
Yurun Sun
Sun Yurun is the partner and VP of Engineering at Agora. After graduating from the University of Science and Technology of China with a degree in Computer Science, Yurun worked at YY, Tencent, and Microsoft. He joined Agora's initial core team in 2014 and has been leading the backend R&D team ever since. Yurun's team focuses on building next-generation internet architecture by solving problems in global large-scale distributed system, internet routing, traffic engineering and congestion control.

Mark leads the market development efforts for Visionular, a company focused on advanced video technology innovation. Mark has played key roles in trailblazing companies', including Beamr, where he was Vice President of Marketing; OTT pioneer VUDU; Kaleidescape, a first of kind home DVD and Blu-ray server; and a digital entertainment kiosk backed by Toshiba and NCR. Mark contributed actively to the cross-industry digital locker initiative Ultraviolet that enabled digital content to be portable across streaming platforms and OTT service providers, laying the foundation for consumers to enjoy video on any device, at any time, and in any location.
Tiffany Xingyu Wang
Tiffany Xingyu Wang is the Chief Strategy Officer at Spectrum Labs, in charge of strategic alliances, go-to-market operations and thought leadership on brand safety. She shares her learnings about digital governance at InternetHealthProject.com. Tiffany is an angel investor and advisor in AI, Blockchain, and Quantum Computing startups. Her investment thesis revolves around data privacy and cyber safety. She sits on the US Technology Policy Committee of Association for Computing Machinery. Previously, she led AI product management for Data Management Platform at Salesforce.com. Tiffany was also an award-winning investor across Africa, Asia, and Europe, receiving accolades including the Thomson Reuters Deal Awards and the Malaysian Greentech Award. She holds an MBA from the Wharton School at UPenn, a Master of Strategy from Institut d'Etudes Politiques de Paris, and a Bachelor of Laws from Fudan University, Shanghai. She speaks Mandarin and French with native fluency.
Geoff van den Ouden
Geoff is the producer at Total Mayhem Games, an indie-studio that is best known for their hit series ‘We Were Here’. What started as a student project from a basement office, with Geoff being their University mentor, has become one of Europe’s fastest growing independent gaming studios. With millions of players and winning several awards like BEST INDIE GAME (Indigo, 2017) and BEST MULTIPLAYER GAME (INDIE PRIZE, 2018).
With a career in the software and gaming industry as a software architect for over 20 years, he has been working as an entrepreneur, innovator, and mentor (usually all at the same time). He has worked on large scale industrial business applications, up to LBE VR games for VR arcades.
Jabez LeBret
Jabez LeBret was homeless in high school, is a dropout, and was on a path to nowhere. After getting his GED, Jabez studied finance and marketing at Gonzaga University. He went on to become a financial analyst managing a multi-million-dollar P&L at Nordstrom. Jabez is now an international public speaker, best-selling author, journalist for NBC and Forbes Contributor. He recently sold his award-winning marketing agency to pursue his passion for education. He is an avid coffee drinker and gin enthusiast.
Dr. Shawn Zhong
Dr. Shawn (Sheng) Zhong is the Chief Scientist of Agora, where he is in charge of R&D for advanced video processing, coding, and transmission technologies. His major interests include algorithms and architectures for computer vision, video and image compression and processing, deep learning and machine learning, multimedia data transmission over the internet and high-performance chips. Prior to Agora, he had held various positions such as the CEO of the Hisense Microchip Company, CEO of SJ Micro Inc., and Senior Principal Scientist of Broadcom. He had been the Principal Member of the ISO MPEG and ITU VCEG and made important contributions to the MPEG4-AVC/H.264 standard and IDCT standard. He has more than 100 patents and patent applications and more than 30 published journal and conference papers.
Joon Beh
Joon Beh is the Co-Founder and CEO of Hallo, a live streaming community for language learning. He worked at Deloitte as a consultant in Silicon Valley, helping tech giants such as Uber, Amazon, and LinkedIn. Joon was featured in Forbes and nominated as one of the top 20s in their 20's by Utah Business. As a Korean immigrant, Joon's fulfilling his American dream and aspiring to empower others to find more opportunities in life through language.
Xiaoyin Qu
Xiaoyin Qu is the founder and CEO of Run The World, the leading online events platform for communities to interact with each other. Run The World raised $15M from leading investors such as Andreessen Howoritz, Founders Fund, Will Smith and Kevin Hart. She previously led products for both Facebook and Instagram. She dropped out Stanford’s MBA program after a year to start Run The World.
Wyatt Oren
As an entrepreneur, Wyatt Oren enjoys building products that make a difference. Wyatt co-founded Applejax to help teachers earn extra money and acquire classroom supplies while providing a helpful academic resource to families. Prior to Applejax, Wyatt co-founded Barhero with his brother Davis to help restaurants acquire new customers [acquired by Airtab in 2018]. Renée Daley, LCSW
Renée is the Senior Clinical Product Manager at Talkspace. At Talkspace she develops tools and features to enhance the therapeutic experience and quality of care for users (clients and therapists). Prior to Talkspace, Renée worked at Quartet Health, a platform focused on integrating primary care and mental health, where she was focused on Product, Marketing and Operations. Renée is a licensed clinical social worker practicing privately in New York with individuals struggling with mental health issues and life transitions. You can find her practicing in Downtown Brooklyn or via teletherapy. She graduated with a Master of Science in Social Work from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Miami University, Ohio.

Virginia Liu
Virginia Liu is SVP of Marketing and Ecosystems at Agora. Virginia brings more than 15 years of marketing, developer relations and strategic partnership experience in the software industry, with track record in delivering drastic growth and business transformation. Virginia joins Agora from Microsoft, where she held several leadership roles in developer marketing, business development, and product marketing. She also served as a board member and managing director for AppCampus, a $24M mobile accelerator jointly funded by Microsoft and Nokia. She holds a bachelor's degree in Economics from Zhongshan University and an MBA with honor from UNC-Chapel Hill.
Dr. Gregor Hofer
Gregor is the CEO and co-founder of Speech Graphics, which also powers the Rapport platform. He holds a PhD in Informatics from the University of Edinburgh, and previously served as a research fellow at the School of Informatics. In addition, he spent time as a senior researcher at the Telecommunications Research Centre in Vienna where he successfully commercialized a text-to-speech prototype that now powers several government websites. Gregor has also co-authored grants worth £1.5MM to fund the commercialization of technology. Through his leadership, Speech Graphics has become the leading facial animation software used by 9 of the top 10 video game publishers.

Meghan Gardner, Vice President As head of the Portland office of Matter Communications. Meghan brings both an eye for detail and clarity of strategic vision to every client program. Her media relations, C-suite communications counsel, and messaging strategy skills have delivered exceptional results for brands from Netflix and Nordstrom to Avid Technologies, Acme Packets (now part of Oracle), Eli Lilly and Company, and the Business Roundtable. Meghan’s career spans two decades, two continents, and both U.S. coasts. Her yoga mat comes with her everywhere she goes. And at last count, Meghan owned five library cards.

Mr. Harris is the Managing Partner of the Palo Alto Office. He specializes in representing startup companies and venture capital firms in corporate and securities matters. Josh Barnard
Josh Barnard is Technical Director at iStreamPlanet, the live streaming platform that powers some of the biggest names in live sports and entertainment. He’s spent almost a decade working on media encoding, packaging, delivery, security, and related technologies for some of the highest profile services, brands, and events in the US and the world. Previous to iStreamPlanet, Josh managed the Media Platform engineering team at Twitter, where he led the services that let you watch live sports, news, and entertainment on Twitter, as well as the services that let you tweet GIF's, images, and videos. Before that, he managed video encoding for Amazon Video, where he launched features including scalable cloud transcode, caption and subtitle support, video for the Kindle Fire and Kindle Fire TV, adaptive bitrate streaming (with Smooth Streaming, MPEG-DASH, and HTTP Live Streaming), UHD streaming, and the first major HDR streaming offering.
Peter Ma
Peter Ma is Co-Founder at MixPose, a live streaming yoga platform that uses AI pose detection in real time. He’s part of Intel Software Innovator, arm innovator and Nvidia AI innovator. Peter has been a software developer for more than 12 years. He has previously been involved in 5 different startups and won more than 100 hackathons in the past. Some of his accomplishments include speaking about mobile apps at TEDGlobal 2010, Winning 2015 AT&T Developer Summit grand prize and gave Secretary of State John Kerry and Vice Premier Liu Yandong of China, Winning Grand Prize at Virtual GovTech Tech and awarded by deputy prime minister his highness Mansoor of Dubai, and one of the grand challenge winner for United Nations Development Programme COVID19 challenge. He has previously founded Clean Water AI and Doctor Hazel, a skin cancer AI detection system.
David Evans
David Evans holds a Ph.D. in social psychology and is a Senior Manager of Customer Research at Microsoft. There he influences the design and brand strategy for Microsoft 365. He is the author of a guide to behavioral design entitled "Bottlenecks: Aligning UX Design with User Psychology" published by Apress Media.

Todd Greene
As an entrepreneur who has founded and successfully sold companies across the software spectrum, Todd helps shape the PubNub vision of revolutionizing the way people interact online. Todd most recently was CEO of Loyalize, an Audience Participation company successfully sold to Function(x) (FNCX), a Robert F.X. Sillerman company, where he designed the first-ever massively multi-user Social TV mobile and web applications licensed to companies like Viacom and Yahoo. Todd previously was founder and CTO/VP Products of CascadeWorks, a company providing Services Procurement solutions to Texas Instruments, Charles Schwab, and ABN Amro, and acquired by Elance. After working with companies like GE, SGI, and Quantum while a consultant at Price Waterhouse, Todd joined NetDynamics (sold to Sun Microsystems in 1998) to help create a truly game-changing product: the first application server built for the Internet.
Mauricio Giordano
Mauricio Giordano is the CTO of InEvent, a growing startup and market leader on Virtual Events. He is also the founder of Y Combinator and a member of YEC.
Jerome Jiang
Jerome Jiang is a software engineer in the codec team at Google. He has been focusing on codec optimizations and development for real-time communication applications. His work on VP9 SVC made it possible for Google Meet to launch VP9 broadly. The full launch of AV1 in Google Duo featured his work in creating and optimizations for real-time mode for AV1, utilizing the compression gain of the latest codec to improve video quality under low bandwidth conditions.
Pierre Seigneurbieux
For the past 20 years, Pierre Seigneurbieux has been an Engineering Leader in the video and media industry with experience spanning early-stage start-ups to large organizations. Pierre is currently in charge of Media Engineering at BlueJeans by Verizon. Prior to joining BlueJeans, Pierre was leading the Media & Graphics strategy for the cloud platform group at Intel. Pierre was the VP of Engineering and CTO at Cinova, he led the design and implementation of an end-to-end AWS-based virtual reality streaming platform. Before Cinova, Pierre was a Sr. Director of Engineering at Arris (formerly Motorola then Google), where he led the Video Compression & Processing Business Unit. Pierre started his career as a video engineer at Cisco Systems before venturing into a series of startups. Pierre holds a Master Degree in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M University and a French Engineering Diploma in Signal Processing and Computer Science from the French National Polytechnic Institute.
Melissa Barker
Melissa Barker is the Founder & CEO of The Phoenix Project, a social impact startup in the Bay Area. As a survivor, Melissa knows firsthand how hard healing can feel at times and wanted to create a space where all can have access to high quality healing and mental health care. Unable to find such a place during her own healing journey, Melissa decided to build it. Phoenix is a caring digital community that supports mental health and wellness—anywhere, anytime. Melissa holds a B.A. from UC Berkeley in Interdisciplinary Studies, an M.A. from Saint Mary’s College in Leadership Studies for Social Justice, and is finishing her Doctorate in Educational Leadership. Her Doctoral research focuses on how survivors are finding sustainable healing, especially during these unprecedented times.
Vivek Nair
Vivek Nair is a co-founder of Pragli, a virtual office for remote teams. He started the company after selling his previous company StacksWare. After two years of remote work at the acquiring company, he was inspired by the flexibility of remote work, but frustrated with the loneliness and communication overhead. He built Pragli to solve these problems. Vivek was also awarded Forbes 30 under 30 in Enterprise Technology and studied Computer Science at Stanford University.
Andromeda Peters
Miss United States 2018-2019 is Andromeda Osam Peters, being crowned as one of the first African beauty queens to hold a national pageant title in the US, making history. Adromeda touts a Master's Degreein Social Work and Bachelor's in Psychology with a minor in Theatre and is a licensed clinical therapist and life coach. No stranger to the stage, she grew up around music and performing, having one parent who is a Ghanaian highlife musician and another parent as a life coach. Andromeda became active in musical theatre at age 10. She remains passionate about modeling, writing, acting and singing today. This penchant for the arts gave way to her interest in modeling following her runway debuts at several DCfashion shows, beauty campaigns, ambassadorship to Inglot Cosmetics, swimwear campaigns and is a signed model in NYC. Outside of the fashion and entertainment industry, Andromeda works as a psychotherapist with a concentration in mindfulness and trauma. She focuses on building her name.
Sara Underwood
Sera Underwood grew up in Southern California and found yoga in the late 90's, at that time her practice was focused on fitness and gaining flexibility. With time a personal evolution unfolded as the deeper teachings of yoga woke her up to the vast potentials a dedicated practice offers. She was introduced to Pilates while recovering from knee surgery in 2010 and has seen the quick results Pilates provides first hand. Sera is currently teaching virtual yoga classes on MixPose.

Atul Jaju
Atul is currently the CTO and Co-Founder at Leher, a social network around LIVE video discussions. He is a computer science graduate with over 14 years of experience in building large scale enterprise solutions. Most recently, he was a senior vice president at Goldman Sachs, managing projects over $2Bn Impact.
Surbhi Rathore
Surbhi is CEO and co-founder of Symbl.ai. Symblis bringing to life her vision for a programmable platform that empowers developers and businesses to build unique conversational experiences without the hassle of upfront training or building their in-house data science expertise. She co-founded Symbl (previously Rammer.ai) almost 2 years ago and was a part of the Alexa Next Stage program by Techstars 2020. Symbl raised an early-stage venture round of 1.8M almost a year ago and deployed capital to grow a team of tech junkies to 25 people primarily distributed between India and Seattle. She comes with experience from technical and customer-obsessed roles in both startups and enterprises such as Nevis Networks and Amdocs. Before co-founding Symbl, she worked in the Conversational AI space with a focus on delivering value to Telecommunication users. She is an advocate for Women in AI with a personal mission to inspire more women to work in Data Science. In her free time, she loves to travel.
Janosch Amstutz
Janosch is an award-winning entrepreneur & university guest lecturer on the topic of using digital humans for communication and eCommerce. Named one of London’s most influential people in 2019 for his role in groundbreaking innovation in his Startup, HoloMe, is a leader in the deployment of digital humans over mobile at speed and scale.

Tim Porter
Tim is CTO and co-founder of MOD Tech Labs. He is the architect of their technology and leads the development of products that simplify complex workflows through automation. After more than 15 years in video games, movies, and immersive media, Tim utilizes his background in optimization and visualization pipelines to build products that expedite content creation across a myriad of industries. The past three years he has been recognized as an Intel Top Innovator and has been a keynote speaker at DeveloperWeek Austin and spoken at 3GCPP, SXSW, Siggraph, CVR and more. An Entrepreneur. In 2016, conducted a market research for Shell petroleum in Pakistan to find new marketing avenues for them to sell their Engine Oil. It was a six months project. From March 2017 to February 2018, worked as an Associate Product Manager for one of the top 10 selling companies on Amazon and single handedly managed 150+ SKUs. From February 2018, working in West Africa for a Hongkong based company as a Country Manager managing the entire operations and workflow for the company.
